匈牙利封鎖邊境後，塞爾維爾派出至少10輛巴士從靠近馬其頓邊境的塞國小鎮普雷舍沃連夜出發，北上前往鄰近克羅埃西亞的小鎮希德，難民再步行進入克國。來自西非國家茅利塔尼亞的35歲阿瑪度說：「我們聽說匈牙利封鎖了邊境，警察告訴我們應該要走這條路線。」
